Chickering Upright #49037

Most upright action are separate from the keys. Here the action and keys are removed as a unit as in a grand while the dampers remain in the piano (also like a grand). The hammers are very small but the tone quality is excellent. Many Chickering uprights have an enormous bass possibly due to the strike point.
